FAST Woodward is a regional bus that runs 7 days a week between downtown Detroit & the suburbs. It consists two bus routes as well:
Route #461 — Downtown Detroit to Troy Civic Center Park & Ride Route #462 — Downtown Detroit to Auburn Hills. The two routes run concurrently between Maple Rd. & Detroit providing frequent service every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes after 8pm. Service runs until 1am M-Sat & 9:30 Sun. Transfer to FAST Michigan to Detroit Metropolitan Airport and FAST Gratiot to downtown Mt Clemens at Spirit Plaza. |
Route 710 - 9 Mile operates along 9 Mile Road between Telegraph and Mack Ave. 7 days a week, passing through the heart of Ferndale. This bus comes through town every 30 minutes during the day & every hour in the evenings until 10:30pm weekdays, 9pm on the Saturday and 8:30pm on Sundays. Its useful for trips to Hazel Park, Kroger, Detroit Fleat, Chazzano Coffee Roasters, Hilton Rd, Voyager, Otus Supply, Ferndale City Hall, Go Comedy, Ferndale Public Library, downtown Ferndale, Ferndale Foods and further west to Oak Park and Southfield.
