Heading in
If you're heading into Ferndale for dinner, drinks or a festival, you'll probably find parking just off of 9 Mile or Woodward. During downtown festivals, you might want to consider parking in Royal Oak. Why so far away? Instead of hunting for parking several blocks away from the event and walking, you can park in a parking garage and easily catch a southbound bus in downtown Royal Oak or at 11 Mile & Woodward. Heading Out Downtown Ferndale is a perfect starting place to explore Woodward. You can head north to Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham, Troy or Pontiac. You can head south to Palmer Park, Highland Park, New Center, Midtown and Downtown (on FAST Woodward). Event parking can be quite costly downtown Detroit and bus fare is only $2 for adults and $1 for kids. |
